Did someone just say that farming items for nicholas is now impossible? That's a laugh. I haven't used SF or SA to farm items since the start.

A lot of those mesmer changes look horribly OP to me.
I'll have to try them out before they get nerfed lol.

Aren't you the same guy who posted:
"Attention everyone! Raptor Farming, Nicholas the Traveler farming, and Boss Farming in HM is now officially impossible.
You can no longer farm:
* Woe Spreader (for your discordway heroes, luckily I manage to get the number of woe spreaders i needed prior to the nerf)
* Raptors
* Scar Eater
* Jayne Forestlight
* Tomton Spiriteater
* Shreader Sharptongue
* Korshek the Immolated
* Eshim Mindclouder
* Birneh Skybringer
* Chor the Bladed
* ecto farming (although that was nerfed earlier with the Skeletons of Dhumm)
* Shakor Firespear
* Jishol Darksong
* (rare) material farming (particularly feathers)
* elite tomes
* any items for Nicholas the Traveler
Good luck trying to find good weapons for your heroes or trying new builds."

Isn't the hyperbole whining routine getting a bit old?

I literally laughed at the stupidity of that list. BTW UWSC with sliver is still doable in <1 hour. And I can farm all of that shit with Sliver STILL. And Sliver wasn't the only skill useful for farming. Its people like that who need to /uninstall because they have no brains and whenever the mindless build they are running gets nerfed, instead of thinking of new builds or new usages, they go "QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ ANET SUX"

Again, when it comes to farming, I prefer doing it solo without h/h and in HM (since the chances of getting a green weapon increases from my experience).

wow you are a true source of misinformation~!

Not saying it is the best option, but the ability to stand in melee range is now a better option than it has ever been for a Mesmer.

Thanks for reminding me of the Visage spells; I tried messing around with an IW build yesterday, but couldn't think of any more useful Illusion spells to add. Playboy duelist go!

LOL. Just been playing in Aspenwood now. Mesmers don't even need to interrupt you if you never have any energy to use skills to be interrupted while doing dps to you.

I would not define visages as "usefull" thou.
IW buff, while nice thought, it fairly wothless: Armor you get from GDA is much better and less slot-wasting than putting illusion weapon skills on your bar just for sake of having +5 armor (and whatever dubious effect they have ... but come on, if you cast them, you are not swinging weapon and if you tank enough to put defensive ones to use, your monk is going to be mad because enchant removal simply destorys you). Any skills that really help with IW: ias & multiattack are not in illusion. Hell, tactics stances are better than stacking illusion skills. And that is sad.
IW always needed one buff: allow adrenaline to be gained by iw swings and allow zealous/vamp mod to function (hint: cyclone axe+whirlwind of death with WY!/SY! thrown in for good measure)

So, when was the last time anyone ever had 25 wins in RA with 3 mesmers and 1 monk?
They are crazy bad. Just roll an anti melee yourself since everyone else will be E surge or some other anti caster.

Dark Paladin X just likes to make himself look a total nob by exclaiming that very easy things are impossible rather than bother to change his skill bar or learn how to play the game. Woe spreader is an incredibly easy green to farm by any profession.
And yes, if you really really suck badly you can use heroes and flag them out. They won't affect the green drop.

I'd totally go for this, just to be able to add defensive sword skills.

Hohohohoho! Panic is great! Now people would learn to stop crowding together! I hate when they do that.
Just check out HoH!
Well, maybe it's a bit too much, a split to give it adjacent range in PvP could be aceptable.
But the functionality is just great, it turns dumb players that stick too close instead spreading reasonably into The Three Stooges. XDDD

Amusing to watch people cry because mesmers suddenly is a real threat and no longer easilly ignored, a good update.

mesmers always were a real threat in pvp, sure the update was good pve wise, but the pvp changes made an already strong class imba.

Not quite. People simply need some time to adapt to the new meta.
